Having worked in the public relations department at Grandview for 10 years (1988-1998), there was a period of time where our team reported to Spero. I was hoping the obituary would indicate what high school Spero attended. If it was Northmont City Schools, Spero would have been one of my students. It is not the first time I have lost a student, but it saddens me when I see a life snuffed out so young. We never got the opportunity to meet Spero, but we were filled with many stories by his son Manuel, and our niece Danelle. The admiration and respect for his father was reflected in the many times Manuel proudly spoke about his dad. Our hearts our breaking for the entire family during this tremendous loss.
