Still missing you, Stan - Back in the 80's, you quickly touched my life as one of my best teachers ever, an inspiring friend, the best of best mentors and an ongoing motivator to me even long after I graduated from UNC-C. And -- to this day, you inspire me...you were a kind, entertaining and always thoughtful teacher, Stan. It's the best legacy of all that thinking about you continues to bring instant smiles and feelings of deep gratitude to the hearts of all who were blessed to know you....

My deepest condolences to Stan's family and friends for your loss. May God bring you comfort during this incredibly difficult time. (2 Thessalonians 2:16)

I was Stan's student, his graduate teaching assistant as a tutor in the UNC Charlotte Writing Center, and a friend after he left UNCC. He was one of the finest human beings I have ever known, and it was my great pleasure to have known him. RIP

Please accept my dearest and heartfelt sympathy; I am so sorry for your loss. May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn" sustain your family during this challenging time. Isaiah 61:1, 2
