West Columbia, South Carolina - Stanley Dennis Barfield, 74, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2021 surrounded by his wife and girls.
He was born January 9, 1947 in Fort Mill, SC as the youngest of six and only son of Garley "Doc" and Juanita Barfield.
He served in the US Navy and deployed during the Vietnam War. From there, Stan lived life to its fullest. He rode motorcycles all over the country after his military service before moving back east and starting a family and business. He spent more than 40 years buying and selling in the motorcycle and auto industry before retiring.
Stan is survived by his wife, his daughters, granddaughter, and his loving dog, Lucy. He was the silverback.
The family will receive close family and friends at their residence on Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.
