Stanley David Burkhardt passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the age of 68. He was born in New Orleans to the late Stanley Francis and Sarah Gulich Burkhardt. Father of Jessica Lynn Burkhardt and Amanda Leigh Burkhardt Ochoa. Brother of Rosalin Frances Burkhardt Maturin and Janet Caroline Burkhardt Homan. He is also survived by his grandson Grayson Ty Burkhardt. Stanley attended college at Northeast Louisiana State where he received a Bachelors degree. He then earned his Masters while attending the University of Mississippi. Stanley was a salesman for Bryan Foods and a store manager for Greaud Fine Foods in Norco, LA. He was also a Master Mason in Lodge #444 F. & A.M. in Metairie. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 1 p.m. Public Visitation is from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. I'm so very sorry for your loss. Sorry also that this is so late but just heard about Stanley's death today at a luncheon for our Dominican Class. Stanley and I were friends (dated) all through high school. He was always a very kind/thoughtful man.
