Not sure what to say?

I met Stanley almost two decades ago at a Globalaw meeting when I was a junior lawyer. After that, we met once more at his club in Toronto where he took me with my wife (who I met through Globalaw!) for breakfast. I remember that meeting (and the coffee they served!) very fondly. I learnt about his Eastern European roots (Elkin). We did not share many connections but he struck me as a kind, generous and clever man. For years I had been looking for opportunities to reconnect. Very sad to...

Dear Genia, I am Pierina son by the way. My condolences to you and your family. I remember your husband very fondly although I was very young I remember him as a wonderful man. I hope you and your family are doing well. Once again I´m sorry for your loss.

Dear Genia, Mr. Elkind has been on my mind so much lately and now I know why. I was wanting to wish him a happy birthday. My condolences to you and your family. He was a great boss and a good friend to me. Thinking of you.

Although we have not spoken in some time, he made the world a better place with our conversations.

Dear Genia, I read with much surprise of the passing of your beloved husband Stanley. It is very sad to think of the magnitude of your loss. May you and your family know no more sorrow. Ellen Alban (Kelner)

Dear Genia, I offer you my heartfelt condolences. Much time has passed since our paths have crossed, however I still remember how Stan adored you in every glance. Camp Arowhon & his friendship with my husband Billy introduced us & I always found Stan easy to talk with. Very friendly; very insightful. I had not followed his career but not surprised at his (and your) successes. May you come to find solace & comfort in the memories you shared... in time. With much fondness, Judi Bader Draimin

I saw Stan frequently when we were growing up. He was a friend of my brother Gerry and frequently at the house on Friday or Saturday night before they went put. Apart from his clothes (we all looked like slumps compared to him) I remember him for his quick wit and his ready smile. And, behind all that a searching intelligence. I have not, I think, talked to him for more than 10 minutes in the past decades, but it is a measure of the man that, while I can hardly remember what we had for...

Dear Genia and family, We are so sorry the hear Stanley has passed away. We surely will remenber him as a real character. He has put very much energy in Mackrell International and helped it to be what it is now. We have to be very thankfull for that. May he rest in peace. We wish you and all family members lots of strenght to cope with this great loss. Léon and Esther Peeters

Please pass on my sincere condolences to Genia and her family. We will miss Stan. Brian Webber
