STANLEY HORST

I didn't know Stanley as an adult only through his sisters Meryl and Cheryl with whom I was a junior counselor at Camp Adventure in Tulsa back in the 60's. Many good memories. So sorry to hear of the loss of their brother. I lost my sister, Debbie Mahan who also worked at the camp. She was Cheryl's Jr counselor and I was Meryl's. Wonderful times. Like Steve Hurter I was also in the DU fraternity with Stan from 1972-1976. Stan and I also knew each other in high school from 1969-1972.

I know that he did what he wanted to do in life. He will be remembered by me as a true friend and honest guy.

I just learned of Stan's passing through our college fraternity, Delta Upsilon. We were roomates in the dorm and the fraternity house from day one. Now, so many fond memories come flooding back. Good travels my brother. May our paths cross again.

I first saw Dr. Horst in 1991 when I had a heart attach. He was the best doctor I ever saw. He made you feel at ease and helped you not to get too scared. I saw him twice a year for 25 years. I had heart attacks in 2007 and he was so kind and reassuring to me and my family. I will miss him but will see him again in heaven and not for a heart problem but salvation in our Christ and savior.

I was a patient of Dr. Horst only briefly and recently learned of his passing. My condolences to his family and coworkers, friends, and former patients. He will be and is missed.

You are in my prayers constantly. John died 8 years ago on 7-23-08. I think Stan & John have a lot to talk about being married to the English cousins. I love you very much Pam!!!

Dr. Horst was my heart doctor for many years until last month. He was always friendly and professional. He saved my life twice and I will miss him.
