Stanley was my 11th grade English teacher at West Side High School. He introduced me to opera, theater and the poet Rilke. We stayed in contact over the years. What a great teacher and friend. So sad to discover that he has passed on. My deepest condolences to his family. NBaylor

Stanley, you were a great neighbor for many years. Jefferson Street will never be the same without you. You were such a blessing to many. Thank you for your service. You will always be missed. Family. We always knew as a family that Stas was a very important part of our family. We knew we would never forget him. Now, after attending his funeral, we will now understand how important his life was to all those others who attended his service. He obviously made a great impression on those who were friends, associates, and the many students in who he taught over the years. He and I grew up together as grades school, high school and college students and my memories will always be always...

Mr. Losinski, what a great class to be apart of, from the candy, watergun, Duke,mead and most importantly his teaching! I would send him articles about big brother when I first went off to college! What he said has come true! Rest well with Duke!

He was one of my favorite teachers at Roosevelt High School. He shared stories of his childhood in Gary, Indiana and he grew up on the same block I grew up on! So sad to hear of his passing. RIP Mr. Lo as we used to call him in English class.
