Not sure what to say?

Stan the Man was one of my favorite professors at Tift College. He took a genuine interest in my further education and encouraged me in that endeavor. I received my PhD in 1982 and have recently retired from the University of Virginia after a 31 year tenure there . Dr. Lott was a wonderful man and a great mentor. I have many fond memories of him. I caught up with him at Chowan College in the early 1990’s It was a memorable meeting and I cherish the time I spent with him. The world is...

We lift prayers of celebration for the impact that Dr. Lott had during his tenure as an educator and pastor. While at Tift, he was always willing to hear us and offer his wise counsel. Please accept our heart felt condolences. Deborah and Tommy Woodward

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Dr. Lott made Louisiana College an special place for those of us who were lucky enough to attend the school during his leadership. Personally, he was very kind person and helped me during my toughest days at LC. May rest in peace.

From that time until...

My sympathy to all the Lott family. Dr. Lott was a favorite professor when I was in his religion class as a student at Tift College. I never realized he was from Alexandria. My mom's family is from that area. I know he led a full and purposeful life.

I was a student of Dr. Lott at Tift College. He is still loved by many us who took his courses.

Dr. Lott was one of my teachers at Tift, and what a great teacher he was! Many memories of his insights into religion. Thank you Dr. Lott.
