Though it has been awhile since I have seen Uncle Stan. I can say he was always as big as life when he came to visit in Pittsfield. My mother would say you have to come now or at such and such a time or you will miss him. Always on the go doing something when he was around. Anyway God Bless all of you for having a great Dad to remember and who will fill your hearts with memories. Cousin Jim

I was so sad to hear about Uncle Stan's passing and sending a big hug to all my Zimmer cousins. Stan was a great guy and will be missed by all of us. He had such a great sense of humor and was always entertaining to be around. When I saw him a couple of years ago in Phoenix it was after a couple of days of playing golf with Bill and Doc. He said he was slowing down a bit and had only played 9 holes each day. I remember thinking that I'm that active in my 90s.
I will be thinking of all of you this weekend and sending lots of loving thoughts your way. Love, Kathy (Keating) Hewitt

I am really going to miss a great dad and friend. Will miss all our trips to the ocean and beaches; especially our times at Rockaway Beach Resort in Oregon. Loved spending time there with you and all the adventures we had. Always a good time.
Glad you were able to travel the world and live a full life. Stayed independent until the end. You were one of the most active 95 year olds I have had the privilege of knowing and loving. Will always miss the time we spent together.Your loving daughter, Joanne Zimmer Pierce

On behalf of the entire membership and staff at Sahalee Country Club, I send my sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family of Stanly Zimmer.
Stan was a charter member of Sahalee CC and a member for over 46 years.
Stan was a great competitor in our men's golf events and shot scores under his age on numerous occasions - an accomplishment admired by all golfers
Stan was an outstanding member, always friendly and very supportive of the membership, staff and club.
Our comforting thoughts and prayers are with the family.
