In Loving Memory of our
Dear Starla Jeanne Anderson

March 1, 2005

“I’ll be seeing you in all the old familiar places”

It’s been an entire year, but our memories of you are so vivid and strong that it seems like just yesterday you were here with us on Earth. You left us too soon. We miss your laugh, your smile, your caring, and your love. We will always cherish every moment we had with you.
Our only salvation is knowing that, with God’s Grace, we...

Dearest Leslie,
She was a wonderful lady, Mom and most importantly . . . your best friend. Her spirit will live on inside of you and make you an even more beautiful person than you already are.
My memory of your Mom will always be her glowing and cheerful look on her face when we saw you all down at Disneyland (waiting outside the Monorail station). She was truly one of the great ones and I feel honored to have met her in my life's travels.
My hearts truly goes out to you...

Dear Leslie and Dave,

We were so touched by the truly beautiful and life affirming ceremony last Saturday and it was such a perfect reminder of how truly beautiful Starla was and will always be in our hearts and memories! What an extraordinary life she built and lived and what an absolutely extraordinary woman, wife and mother! Starla lives on in our hearts and in all the love and joy and friendship Leslie has brought to our lives and continues to bring. Starla was a shining...

Dear Leslie and Dave,

I am sorry that I was not able to make it to the memorial, but I am sure it was wonderful. I want to thank both of you for allowing me to be a part of your and Starla's life. She was a wonderful person and I am glad that she came into my life. She will forever be an important person in my life.

Leslie:

The memorial for your mom was a beautiful tribute to her life. One of the points that touched me most was about your mom's devotion and loyalty to her friends. In so many ways I think you have been the glue that holds all of us gals from Davis together ("If it wasn't for Chi-Omega"). Your loyalty to your friends and family is incredible and an example to us all. I didn't know your mom, but I know so many of her beautiful traits were passed on to her beautiful daughter....
