Stella F. Higginbotham

I was so saddened to hear of Stella's passing and even more upset with myself that I had not kept in better touch with her. I thought of her so many times and wish I had just picked up the phone. She used to play bunco with us and I used to pick her up at her home and we would drive together and have such wonderful conversations. My condolences to the Higginbotham family and friends. I knew Mrs. Higginbotham as a student attending Truman MS. As a staff member I knew her as a caring individual. I enjoyed chatting with her on my visits to her campus. Rest in Peace.

I had the pleasure of working with her as a teacher. When I first started teaching myself, I always admired how patient and understanding she was and the kids loved her.
