Dear Mrs. Abrams and the entire Abrams family,

The Clarksburg High School community is deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend, Mr. Stephen Abrams. Mr. Abrams was always an avid supporter of Clarksburg High School, and we were honored to host him at our inaugural commencement exercises in 2008. We will all remember him fondly for proudly wearing his Clarksburg hat as he traveled through MCPS.

Getting to know and work with Steve was one of the great joys of my job at Penn. I am so sad to hear of his passing and wish I had the opportunity to reiterate to him how much I enjoyed our interactions. My condolences to the Abrams family and the many others who grieve his passing.

It is such a small world, and I don't know if you remember me, but I was speaking with my cousin, Edythe Runnett, when she found out about Stephen. I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am for your loss.
