I had the good fortune to work with Steve for 30 years. He was a very humble man and never recognized the talent and scientific expertise that he contributed to his company. Even more important than his professional abilities was his character as a good and righteous man. I think we are all fortunate to live in this great country and can thank Steve for making it an even better place for all of us. Those of us lucky enough to have known him will miss him very much.

Janet and family, I was sorry to read about Steve. I always enjoyed visiting with both of you at the Dauer cousin reunions. May your good memories comfort you and your family at this time of loss. He is rejoicing with his Savior and Lord. With deepest sympathy, Sandy Dauer Duty

I am terribly saddened to hear of the passing of Uncle Steve and I'm sending my love and prayers to Aunt Janet, Laura, Philip and Tim. Uncle Steve was a exceptionally good man who lived a good life and earned the love and respect of all who had the pleasure to meet him.
