Not sure what to say?

Dearest Connie and family, I remember Dr. Blood every day as I practice osteopathic medicine. I have taught students in my office just as he taught me for the last 15 years. Recently I went out into private practice and work part time teaching Osteopathic Manipulation in the lab at LMU DCOM in Tennessee. Although every time I would see Dr. Blood, I would tell him how positive an impact he had on my professional life. I had long planned on writing a letter explaining just how much. Although...

I just purchased a 1960 Frances C. Hammond High School Yearbook, which I believe belonged to Stephen Blood. I was interested to know about its owner, and found this obituary. I'm posting on 9/12/2024, so this message may not be received, but in the event that a family member might like to have this yearbook, I'd be happy to pass it along. I am in Alexandria, and attended Hammond High school and was in the first class to attend TC Williams for academic year 1971-72. Please feel free to...

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Dr. Blood had hands from God. I remember that when I saw him once on a Sunday, I was totally blown away that he was even better than during the regular week appointments. I couldn't have imagined he could be even better than the regular sessions! They were perfect. I guess he was less busy and stressed on a Sunday. I miss Dr. Blood profoundly. He got me through so many hard times.

Connie, I'm so sorry to hear of Steve's death. One of the last times I saw him he'd begun to use a walker. It was unsettling. I thought 'What will he do now?" Turns out he taught the next day! On a number of occasions I've showed up at his office before hours. I did on my wedding day! He gave the adjustment to me as a wedding gift. I'm so fortunate to have had him in my life. With gratitude. Gretchen

Dear Connie, I was so saddened to hear that Dr. Blood passed. I learned about it this week from Dr. Andrew Lee. I called Dr. Blood's cell a few weeks ago to say hello and see how he was doing. I don't know if he had already passed. Dr. Blood had hands from God. He got me through many hard times. I am beyond appreciative that I was his patient for so many years. I offer deepest condolences over such a great loss for you, the family, and his many devoted patients. Most sincerely,...

My heart goes out to the Blood family. Steve has struggled with this disease and Connie, you have have been his rock. He is in God´s hands and is at peace.

To Connie and the Blood family So sadden to hear of the loss of my favorite doctor of 42 years and of a dear friend. To say that Dr. Blood had an exceptional talent with his ability to help patients in pain is an understatement. Those who were fortunate enough to have had him as their doctor know that he will be irreplaceable. Not only did he treat patients physically, but emotionally as well. He was the only doctor that when I left his office after a treatment, I always felt better than...

We have such fond memories of our beloved Dr.Stephen. Debbie was the file girl after school and was Stephen Jr´s and Laura´s babysitter at the beach. Chris worked for the Blood´s and loved every minute of it. Lots of fun sailing on the bay with the family. Rest In Peace dear Stephen. Love to Connie
