Not sure what to say?

Remembering a skilled, caring, and personable surgeon and fellow human being on the anniversary of his passing. I am so grateful that Dr. Buday was my surgeon when I had breast cancer in 2002. God blessed me with one of the best and I thank Him for that. You touched many lives and are missed.

This, on the anniversary of his death, I would like to extend continued condolences to his family and close friends and again to share what a gifted, talented, and caring surgeon he was and how fortunate I was to have him as my breast cancer surgeon. Unfortunately, few have the talent, skills, dedication, and caring demeanor Dr. Buday possessed. He is sorely missed.

Dr. Buday was my breast cancer surgeon in August of 2002. My first meeting and office visit was to aspirate fluid from a cyst from my breast. During the procedure, upon inserting needle to drain fluid, it was discovered there was no fluid. I knew from the look in Dr. Budays eyes that it was not a good sign. I asked what that meant and he stated it needs to come out. After scheduling and performing a needle core biopsy, It was evident it was cancer. Dr. Buday performed my double mastectomy,...

Dr. Buday did some minor surgery on me quite a few times. He described minor surgery as "Which end of the scalpel your on". Truly a gifted and kind Man, who I always enjoyed talking with. He was quick with a joke and always had a very positive attitude about everything. May you rest in peace my friend. Condolences to his family, he will be missed by many.

I just found out Friday when I went to have my mammogram at Mount Carmel West that Dr. Buday had passed away. I was saddened to hear this for he has been my doctor since 2000. I have had three biopsies that have come back clear over the years. And he was such a kind and gentle man and he took very good care of his patients. I will miss him so much!! I want to thank you Doctor Buddy for your kindness towards me through my three biopsies. I hope I don't have to have anymore cause you're not...

I did not know Steve as a doctor: he was my neighbor across the street
On Robertson ave in Cleveland. Our parents were good friends. He was
8 years older than me and I thought he was so cute!!! I can only imagine
What a great doctor he was.

Dr. Buday saved my life 6 times from breast cancer. I was his patient since 2005. He also treated my dad for prostrate and kidney cancer. He was so kind and caring and loving! He was truly one in a million. Sometimes i did not have money and he treated me anyway. What an amazing gifted incredible person! My heart breaks for his family and fiance. May he rest in peace with jesus! Sadly missed forever!

Although I was never a patient, this obituary was called to my attention as one of his surviving children has my family name Calcara. I am very interested in how we might be related. If someone might contact me. I pray the comfort only God can provide is sufficient for this sad time but glorious time for Dr. Buday.
