I have many great memories thanks to Steve, like the fun times with Kathy and Dan in Hayward and Dillon and especially the time he arranged Superbowl tickets for me. My love, prayers and condolences to all of you. May you always enjoy wonderful memories of the time you had with him. I'll bet he's going to have a great St Patrick's day in Heaven.

So sorry to hear of Chief Conroy's passing. He was the first Chief I worked for at the St. Paul Fire Department. I used to see him at church at Assumption and I would always approach him to see how he was doing. My thoughts and prayers are with you Steve Jr. and all the family. Cindy Mentes

Steve was a close friend of my father Jerry Love for many years. we were partners in a houseboat on the St Croix river for many years and have many good memories of that time.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. He was a wonderful man, I am so glad I got to share some great times with him.

My father, Richard Haider, Retired Fire Fighter/Paramedic sends his condolences. Steve and my dad were good friends and coworkers, I remember seeing Steve at all the firer fighter family functions. Our prays to your family, you were lucky to have him in your life as long as you have as my family and I have with my father who will turn 90 this April 12th. Salute to these two great men!

Chief Conroy was one of the most progressive Fire Chiefs in the country. It was an honor to be a member of Saint Paul Fire during his years as leader. My sincere sympathy to his family.
