Steve was a true leader, mentor and friend. My brother and I had the privilege of working for him at Floodwood Mountain Scout Reservation and he influenced our growth and development in countless ways. He will always be in my heart and I will miss him dearly. Ron Pearsall

Steve Gerber was a fraternity brother and as fine a man as I have ever known. He grew up in Evanston Illinois and graduated from Northern Illinois University where we met. Steve dedicated his life to working with young men with a long career with the Boy Scouts, Delta Upsilon Fraternity and the Marine Military Academy. He will be missed. Bob Houston
