Mr Hite was my 6th grade teacher at George Nettels grade school. One of my very favorite teachers. I was very competitive and he was one of the few teachers that would let me stretch it to the limit. He was the first teacher (besides Mom) that really got me into reading and I would say, that as much as anything I learned early-on, the ability to read at a high level has stayed with me throughout life. I would occasionally see Mr Hite in later years and we would always share a good memory...

So sorry to hear this. Mr. Hite was the principal when my children were in grade school in Kingman and he was so nice, personable and reasonable. Loved watching him officiate high school football games. Sorry for your loss. The world lost a wonderful gentleman.
