Not sure what to say?

The best English teacher ever. I learned so much. Thank you. Love you always.

He was not just a dear friend, but also one of the nicest people I have ever known. Miss him a lot!!

One of the best and most influential teachers I had in my years at BMHS. One of those teachers you wonder years later....I wonder what he’s up to? You will be missed by more than you or your family can imagine. Rest easy Hoff and thank you!

He taught from the highest place in the classroom and still is.

Mr. Hofheimer, “Hoff”, was a precious gem of a teacher. From the arrangement of desks in a circle in his classes, to the timeless literature he exposed us to, and the nicknames he had for each of his students, he was a gift to anyone who was lucky enough to experience his witty character and warm personality. Rest In Peace to a favorite teacher whose lessons will never be forgotten!
Former student and NPS colleague

I had Hoff for "Psych in Lit," class of 1993. He was a great teacher and human being. My condolences to his family and friends. We were so lucky to have had him in our lives.

What a lovely sweet soul of a man. He had a smile that could light up a room. He taught with such energy and passion. I will never forget him reading The Scarlet Ibis in Psychology and Literature :( or our TTW's. He made learning fun. RIP Hoff. You will be missed.

Both of my sons were in his class and I remember them coming home from school with so much enthusiasm because of Mr. Hoff. Years later I had the chance to thank him for all he instilled into them, and to let him know because of his love and guidance both of my sons were college graduates. I'll never forget his modesty. We lost a true educator and a beautiful human being. Love and prayers to his family.
