Otherwise known as "Hoops", for his ability to sink the basketball from outside the 3 point line. We Hammerfesters (the group of golf misfits Frank mentioned) are lucky to have had the time that we did with him. He will be sorely missed. Somehow, the next time I am behind a tree, don't be surprised if his spirit kicks my ball back into the fairway!

Dear Howell family, I am very sorry for your loss, Steve was a guy who was always quick to give and make a smile, and a great asset to everyone he came to know. I will remember him fondly, and have great memories of the time we spent attending football games and golfing events. respectfully, Damon Limberis
