Stephen had keen interest in another sport...squash. Stephen played for the last several years at the Y, and played in the RVA City Squash League against all the other clubs in the area. Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. I knew Stephen through the squash community at the Richmond Downtown YMCA. Stephen was one of the friendliest guys in our community, always ready with a friendly word, a quick smile, and a warm handshake. I always looked forward to seeing him. He'll be missed by all of us at the Y. Rest in peace, Stephen.

I knew stephen for a few years because he was my season guy for the lindsey food group. Everytime i saw him, he was always cheerful and supported us like no other. He will be missed and shocked to hear that he is gone from this earth. Will be missed but never forgotten. My condolences to his family

Sincere condolences to Stephen´s family. He introduced me to pickleball during the pandemic and I always enjoyed my chats with him after pickleball or squash at the Y. May his soul lie on the right side of God.
