Steve was an amazing guy. He may be the "grown-up" outside my family that I've known the longest, and I always loved our family visits with the Johnstons when I was a kid. He was an amazingly creative guy, an incredible musician, a lover of humanity, and he had so many qualities I still admire. I maintain close friendships with his children, and they're one of my favorite families in the world. He was a great man, and I'm truly sad that he's gone. Rest in peace, Steve.
