Steve King was my tee-ball coach many years ago. I was not an athlete by any means, but my memories of that team (the only one to sing in the 4th of July parade) are some of the best of my childhood. During my first at-bat, I hit the ball and ran straight to third base. Every time I saw him in the 30+ years that followed, Coach King brought that up and laughed his face off.
