I had the pleasure of working for Steve in 1974 as a rookie....and he didn't make me feel like one. He was an excellent supervisor. He recently contacted me in reference to one of his men who was seriously wounded and they got to talk about old times. I'm glad they connected. God Bless Him and His Family. A Good Man He Is.

I'm sorry for the loss to your family. Steve was the first Sergeant that I worked for in 1970 in the 3rd District. He treated me and the other rookies there like family and was a great role model for us even before we knew what a role model was.
