I am a first year medical student at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. I was preparing to start in Dr. Lowrys Lab within the next two weeks. He was a man of great kindness and generosity. I was always amazed by the time he took out of his busy day to guide me.
I would like to extend my condolences to family and friends. he will truly be missed.

As a resident at NYH and as a faculty member at UMDNJ in his department, he was a great mentor, role model, and his friendly disposition was unique. He will be missed and I extend my condolences to his family and all who were close to him.

I was a surgery resident with Steve in Salt Lake City and always considered him to be a role model and mentor. I was so sorry to hear of his passing and send condolences to his family. Deborah Loeff (Chicago, IL)

Dr. Lowry wqas a graduate of the University of Utah general surgery residency program and his colleagues and friends here send their best wishes and sympathy to his family. He will be greatly missed.

Dr. Lowry was not only a brilliant researcher and surgeon, but a fabulous mentor. He was incredibly supportive and encouraging. Dr. Lowry will be greatly missed by the current and future generation of surgeons and scientists. RWJMS Student Class 2003; Surgical Resident Class 2010.

Steve was a great teacher and surgeon. Inviting me to his research lab helped me start a life-long interest in immune complexities, that are so applicable in Otolaryngology. And the friendships of the Lab were special, and lasting. He is well remembered at Cornell, and missed. Sarah Stackpole MD, CUMC '84
