I am a first year medical student at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. I was preparing to start in Dr. Lowrys Lab within the next two weeks. He was a man of great kindness and generosity. I was always amazed by the time he took out of his busy day to guide me.
I would like to extend my condolences to family and friends. he will truly be missed.

Steve was a great teacher and surgeon. Inviting me to his research lab helped me start a life-long interest in immune complexities, that are so applicable in Otolaryngology. And the friendships of the Lab were special, and lasting. He is well remembered at Cornell, and missed. Sarah Stackpole MD, CUMC '84
