What a wonderful man with a wonderful heart. We are all very lucky to have had someone who cared for so many people around for the time that we did. The picture you attached to the obituary represents him exactly as I want to remember him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all from far away.

The Mayer Family,
You have my deepest condolensces at this difficult time. It is at times like these when the family around us becomes our greatest support. "Ice it and Tape it!" got me through my athletic career thanks to Mr Mayer. God Bless

Jay, Eric & Stacey,

Sorry to hear of your loss. Your dad and I were good friends from way back on 4th st when Uncle Bob was alive and my partner on the Police Dept. Your grandfather was also a good friend and the stories I could tell you about your Dad, Grandfather, & your Uncle would make you laugh. We can save the stories for another time. Steve will be remembered always. Rest in peace old friend until we meet again.

I am so sorry for you loss, I will always remember his smiling face that met me in the training room at AHS. His loss is a great one, take comfort in knowing he touched so many lives.

Mayer Family,

My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. Mr. Mayer will be missed by many because he touched so many lives.

I am sorry for your loss.
