Not sure what to say?

Steve was so fun to be around. As a classmate he was one of the few that I had a overnight. He was into the cobra mustang. The next day we went to Mac's meat market and got to choose the candy we wanted.

I had the honor of working with Steve at HY_VEE as a meat cutter for a few years. He was a great man that wore his heart on his sleeve and would be willing to do anything for anyone at anytime! He was well known for his sence of humor and his laugh. I will miss him very much! My condolences to his family and my god bless them all!

McNally Family,

My daughter and myself had the pleasure of knowing Steve and Nate through the Citizen Police Academy. To this day at least once a week my daughter mentions the crazy guy (Steve) that sat with us at our graduation dinner table and how he was always making jokes and had us laughing all night. He definately left a lasting impression on both of us and will be greatly missed. Prayers to the family.

Dear McNally's,
We knew Steve from Hyvee wine and spirts, what a truely geniune man. Everytime we saw him he always had a smile for us. I remember when he was delivering papers in the neighborhood even that early in the am still smiling. We will truely miss him. Our prayers are with you all.

Dear McNally Family,

I worked with Steve for approx. 2 months (mid. Nov. 2009 - Jan. 2010). He was assigned to train me for a job, but he trained me more for LIFE! In this short time, I felt I knew him well. He had one of the biggest hearts and smiles of most anyone I have met.He loved to laugh and made me laugh (usually cause he was laughing at himself). He often talked of his family. (Why he enjoyed spending time with his wife & children and why he suddendly began driving a...

McNally Family,

I first met Steve at HyVee Spirits in September 2010 while relocating to Quincy for work. I enjoyed every moment I had when talking to Steve about craft beer. Steve would say "hey buddy, you are that MN guy. Buddy...what was your name again?" Steve would always say "how about Favre and those Vikings?" Knowing I moved from MN he would throw those jabs throughout the 2010 season. Knowing Steve for a short period of time makes this news tough to take. I would...

Nate and family, please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. I worked with Steve at Hy-Vee on Broadway when it first opened. We had some good times. After my leaving Hy-Vee's employment, my husband and I still enjoyed seeing Steve when we shopped. He always had a great smile and loved to tease. Steve was a great person and the world would do better if it had more people like Steve in it. He will be missed. May God ease your loss. Know that he is in a much better place and free...
