A great man. A gentleman´s gentleman. Great humor, and an even greater heart. He lived with integrity, respect for people, and was always positive, and loving. Rest dear sir. And thank you for you.

I knew Steve as a gracious man and a lovely actor, first meeting him at the Yale School of Drama from 1970-73, and running into him occasionally in Los Angeles over the years. Sadly, we never got to work together on the stage, as it would have been both a pleasure and a privilege. Please let me know of the future memorial service plans, as I would love to attend. Many blessings to his family and friends! Michael

Sorry to learn this. Stephen and I once won the Laurel Beach tennis tournament men's doubles together. Saw him at Long Wharf Theater in A View from the Bridge...watched him in Snap Shot with Paul Newman. He was a good actor, a good athlete, and a good guyl
