Not sure what to say?

Steve
Many years have passed since you left us but your thoughts still permeate me to be a leader. Thank you for all you have done for the USCG Auxiliary and me personally.
Miss you but not forgotten. May you both RIP with your wonderful wife Arleen. God Bless

I wish to express how grateful I am to have attended a couple of John Thomas and Julia Goodwin Boyd family reunions you hosted, Steve! I also would like to thank you for hosting my grandmother and your aunt Mildred Boyd's funeral reception at your house on the Neuse River two years ago!!

May 18, 1987 – That's the day Steve Mullen hired me to be his Secretary at NAVY Lakehurst. Even after 26 years, his guidance has been instrumental in helping me become the NAVY employee I am today. Always encouraging and honest and insightful - his advice to “never say you can't” do whatever task was asked of me has helped me experience more than I ever imagined. For that and many other slices of wisdom I am grateful. I believe he will be fine with the Greatest Fisherman of All, and offer...

Steve was one of the first supervisors I worked for at Navy Lakehurst. Although I was just starting my career, and he was ending his, I always remember Steve as being kind, and willing to give his insight to me. I also remember his friendly disposition and his smile. I still have a picture of him with me at his retirement party. He was so happy to be going back home, and he was blessed to have such a great family to be with in his retirement. I pray for his family during this difficult time.

Haven't seen Steve since he retired from Lakehurst but I was very fond of him. He was a true southern gentleman. My condolences to you Arleen and your family.

Not sure if our earlier submission was recorded so, if this is a repeat, please accept our apologies. Steve was a great guy and a genuine patriot. He was also one of our first friends in NC when we moved here 16 years ago through the CG Auxilliary. He made us smile and was a true friend. He believed in his God, his family and his country. God bless him and all of those who loved him.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Please accept our condolences.

Steve was a very close friend. He was like a brother to me, of witch I never had. We fished and visited together like family and he always was great to be around. We had many enjoyable times. He cared for family and friends like myself and my wife Joyce. We will miss him very much and I lost my friend. I think there will be a place in heaven for to fish as well.
