My mother told me about Steve's passing. I'm very sorry to hear that. He was a wonderful man and did so much for the community of persons with disabilities. He will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Susan; I admire so much all that Steve did to help people with disabilities through his work at SATH, and you were always right there by his side, working hard with him and sharing his dream. He fought very hard; for so long after most would have given in to their own health issues; and he will be missed by so many, but especially by you and his family. He was a special person.

I met you at the very first SATH Congress and looked forward to renewing our friendship every year. You were the heart and soul of SATH and the man to whom everyone turned to "get the job done".
