Stephen Niederhofer Obituary

We mournfully announce the passing of Stephen Niederhofer, 76, of Conroe, Texas. He passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024, after a long battle with Parkinson's. Stephen, son of August and Lillian Niederhofer, took his first breath on July 26, 1947, in Henderson, Texas. He and his family moved to Conroe when he was 13. This is the town that he called his home.

Stephen was a very interesting and unique soul. He graduated from Conroe High School in 1969. He kept very much to himself and quiet, but his hands were never idle, unless he was sleeping. His mannerisms were humble and "Don't worry about it," or "Goodie Goodie for them," were always good advice he gave.

Stephen worked side by side with his family for his entire life. Niederhofer Feed, Niederhofer Mobile Home Park, he was the Vice President of ANNS Corp., and in retirement, a C.E.O., and owning partner in Grasshopper and Honeybee, a Texas Series LLC. Family was his comfort zone and his main focus of people he wanted in his life. He is survived by his sister, Mary Ann; Rebecca, his niece; and great-nephews, August and Clover.

Throughout life, Stephen's hobbies were collecting various collectors items, coins, money, stamps, recycling, comic books, cookies, and movies. He enjoyed church and going out to eat. Favorite restaurants changed throughout his life, but his love for cookies stayed true to chocolate chips.

Stephen never married but very much enjoyed his favorite ladies who have helped him throughout life and in the final progressions of his challenges. He sends his love and thanks for all of your care and help throughout his life. Anna, you are loved dearly.

"Talk low, talk slow, and don't talk too much." ~ John Wayne

Stephen was laid to rest in Garden Park Cemetery.

He was a strong, determine, and honest man. I did a few jobs for him and he was always ready to get his hands dirty. RIP Steven
