Steve was a regular at the Denny's at Watt and Auburn. He had the same order everyday. Grand Slam with sausage eggs over medium. I enjoyed working the puzzles from the paper with him and later he did maintenance at the store. Steve was meticulous and very honest. Condolences to the family.

Rest n Peace Steve. before leaving Sacramento to Bay Area and now SoCal, I would see Steve at Wenelli's on Tuesday after my friends finished basketball. Over the years, I sold Steve (and son) a few vehicles at Mike Daugherty Chevrolet. A good man, a great story teller and fierce Dodger loving Giant hater! OK, we disagreed on that! I am glad that I was up visiting a month ago and saw him after basketball. His presence in his chair will be missed.
