Steve & I go all the way back to St. Stephens elementary school, 1946. We both played on the DeSales football, joined the Navy in October 1958, went to boot camp at Great Lakes, IL. We parted ways in Chicago, January 1959. Steve was on his way to Memphis, TN for Aviation Fire Control training and I was headed back to Great Lakes for training.
