Not sure what to say?

I have fond memories of Steve, Rolando and the Jericho gang dancing the night away! Steve was a bright light in a dark world. He had some unforgettable expressions!
I pray he rests in peace.

Trudy & Family - I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Steve was a good person with a great heart and he will be missed. God bless you and your family.

Marlaine,Chico and Trudy my prayers are with you and your families through the loss of this great and wonderful man. Steve was like a older brother to myself and Avril and we will never forget the time when our parents were out of town and Steve was to stay with us and keep an eye on things until they got back. That was the BEST party we ever had!! We Love You Steve and we will keep you in our hearts and prayers!

We will all miss Steve's wonderful smile and infectious laugh. He was the life of the party!

As the widow of Jerome Barton, I can remember the funny stories Steve and Jerome shared from the Police Academy and then on the force for many years. Jerome respected Steve and now they are together again. May God grant you the guidance to go on in honor of Steve and his humor and goodness.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived.

To the Preston Family:

I am sure you were blessed by Steve's life just as we were at Fisk University. I remember Steve as being kind to us underclassmen and always friendly. During times like these, scriptures help so much. Please accept this simple one, and I hope it will see you through this difficult time. Blessed are they that mourn fore they shall be comforted.

May God embrace your soul and provide you rest. I remember the days on the tennis court. Tank '75

I will miss seeing Steve out and about. It was never really a true Party unless Steve was there. My sincere condolences to Marlaine,Trudy and the rest of the family. Steve was truly loved and will be missed terribly.
