Not sure what to say?

To Lisa and Stephen-

Condolences in the loss of your dad and and mother Valerie. My family was close friends of your grandparents in Worcester and the
Karolkiewicz family. I remember as a young girl your mother who was a strong and independent women, and the time she met and courted your dad.

Because Steve and I were in the same Peace Corps group, we trained together in Puerto Rico (Rio Piedras and San Juan) before starting our work in the Dominican Republic. After the Peace Corps I only saw Steve a couple of times at PC reunions but always considered him part of my circle of friends. We are sorry to learn of the passing of Stephen, but grateful for her service to our nation with the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic.

Our Condolences,
The National Peace Corps Association

I hope Lisa, Stephen and the family will find comfort & strength during this time of sadness. I will always miss my gentle cousin Stasiu.

Steve was a fellow co-worker when he served as desk office for Madagascar during my tenure at post. He was a kind and loving person. May he rest in Peace with his beloved who passed on earlier.
