Not sure what to say?

Stephen was my favorite law professor and my friend at the University of Alabama. He was a delightful human being. I am sad to learn of his passing. He had a good heart and is in a good place.

Dear Ellen and Family,
We are so deeply sad to hear that Stephen is gone...we had been hoping against hope so much to hear better news. It was only a month earlier that we had talked about seeing you two out here sometime, and where we would go to see the sunset off the coast.
We have known Steve through so many years, he has always been the greatest joy to speak with, in person, at meetings, on the phone, and even after we moved away, at such long distance, what an amazing treasure...

I met Stephen while serving on our coop board. Before I called him I would set aside a block of time because I knew we would go down one rabbit hole or...

It makes me so sad to hear about Stephen's death. It was so nice of him to help me out with the sale of my brother's house over the past year. I know it was a frustrating real estate sale for him. I really appreciate all that he did for me. I am so glad that I got to meet him in person at the closing on July 30.. The reason I picked him as my lawyer was because of his interest in the preservation of NY landmarks. My heart goes out to his family and friends. Thanks Stephen. Patty A...

I was a law student at University of Alabama when Stephen invited me to move to New York for a summer program in Brooklyn converting abandoned apartments into condominiums for the poor. What an amazing experience! I have spent hours telling my golf buddies stories about that summer. We had a lot of fun together both there on Hicks street, Brooklyn and also Tuscaloosa Alabama. About two months ago I had a sudden urge to call him but the number was disconnected. I hope he knew how much he...
