I heard the sad news of Steve's passing and wanted to share my sympathy. I had the honor of working with Dr. Setter on one of my pharmacy rotations in Spokane. While working with him at Elder Services, he encouraged me to write a paper, which he helped edit and get published. I will keep the entire family in my prayers....what a gem he was!

Steve, you are loved by so many people; so many students, colleagues, family members and friends. Thank you for being a friend to me and taking so much time to help when my mother had cancer. Even though there were days I am sure you were tired, you stayed by her side and brought a sense of calmness to my family. God bless you and your family.

What a tremendous loss. Thank you Dr. Setter for being such a great professor and preceptor; your passion for your patients was a wonderful example for all of us. Our prayers are with your family. You will be greatly missed.
