Not sure what to say?

Chris and Family, My brother Steve and I were deeply saddened to hear of Stephen´s sudden passing. Please accept our most heartfelt condolences. Growing up with you on Bridle Path, I vividly remember Steve´s welcoming smile, and positive disposition. Our parents thoroughly enjoyed their conversations with Steve, as he kept them posted about his educational goals, and future plans before going off to college. He left an indelible mark as an outstanding role model and big brother to his...

Dear Ann, I ran into Steve several months ago, and it was delightful to talk to him about our days at Arbor Hill , and to catch up on our lives since then. I remember that he showed me several photos of quilts and other needlework projects that you had completed. He was so proud of you and so warm in his anecdotes of you and your family. I am so sorry that I wasn't aware of his passing in time to attend his services, but I have kept you in my prayers and thoughts . His warm heart...

Ann and family, I am so sorry to hear to hear about your sudden loss. Steve was such a wonderful and caring person. Although I only worked with him for a few years at ASH his compassion and dedication as a teacher was exemplary. May all the beautiful experiences and memories you created with Steve be your guiding light through this difficult time. Ceil Testo

Ann and family. Steve will forever be our hearts. He was so gracious and thoughtful towards our sweet mother. He helped her fill her grieving heart with his many visits . His warm smile and gentle ways filled her with so much pure joy especially at the sight of Steve at her front door. Whenever he ventured to Buffalo he made it a point to see Norma. He did this for 50 years. She loved Steve so much. Our hearts are broken but know the good die young and that God now needed Steve in heaven....

To Ann, and the entire extended Smith family, I was stunned to hear of Steve´s passing. My heart goes out to you and your entire family. I was fortunate enough to be a high school classmate of Steve´s at St. Joe´s. I became friends with Steve at St. Joe´s, and though I didn´t see or talk to Steve a lot over the years, we stayed friends, and had the occasion to be in contact much more over the last few years. Steve made every get-together more fun and more positive. He was a class person in...

Dear Ann, I am so sad to hear of Steve's passing. I always enjoyed his presence. I know he will be very busy UP There watching over the young ones in the Eternal Kingdom.

My condolences, Ann, to you and your family. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all at this most difficult time.

As a friend of the family, I spent most of my high school free time (in the late 70s) hanging around his parents household in Williamsville. Although I haven’t seen Stephen in years, I will always remember him as a generous, quick-witted, outgoing force of nature who unabashedly loved people and spending time with his family and all his great, lifelong friends. He exemplified a life well-lived life and left all who knew him a great legacy of faith, love, and service. I know he will be...
