Few people in my 73 year life extended their warm and humbling friendship to me like Rosalie and Steve Snyder have. I'm very sorry to hear about the passing of Steve. He was not only a true icon in the book industry but also a dear friend and mentor to so many of us. Steve's generosity and willingness to help others, whether they were friends or competitors, were truly remarkable qualities.
