Few people in my 73 year life extended their warm and humbling friendship to me like Rosalie and Steve Snyder have. It was a true privilege to work for them on their Falmouth home and an honor to know them. Steve's boundless sense of humor conquered me each and every time we met. He was an honest-to-goodness joy to be with. Rosalie - my deepest condolences are extended to you and your family along with my profound thanks for your friendship. I will remember Steve with lasting affection for the remainder of my days.

Peter and I did not know Steve for long, but we have great memories of the evenings we were able to enjoy together, his warm friendly spirit and all the good conversations we were able to share. I'm very sorry to hear about the passing of Steve. He was not only a true icon in the book industry but also a dear friend and mentor to so many of us. Steve's generosity and willingness to help others, whether they were friends or competitors, were truly remarkable qualities.
Steve Snyder and Doug Rhodes were like the dynamic duo in the industry, and their combined passion and expertise made a lasting impact on all of us. It's heartbreaking to think that the industry has lost two legends this year.
One of the things that will always stand out about Steve was his sense of humor and his infectious laugh. He had the unique ability to brighten any room with his presence and his positive outlook on life was a great source of inspiration to many. Steve's laughter was limitless, just like the impact he had on all of us.
Steve will be deeply missed by so many, but his legacy will continue to live on in the memories and stories we share about him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time. Rest in peace, dear friend, mentor, and legend.

We are so very sorry to read of Steve's passing. Having lived in the Boston area and been an active part of the print industry there for a many years, Steve was one of the first people in the industry I came to know well. He was an inspiration to me throughout my career, and Steve was instrumental in my involvement local print and publishing organizations including my ultimate stint as President of the Book Manufacturers' Institute.
Steve was always kind, professional, supportive, of humor, and full of wisdom and industry history. Our sincere condolences to Rosalie and the entire Snyder family.
Sincerely,
David and Judy Mead
