Steve was my right hand as bailiff, a great historian and colleague after our retirement, and dear friend. So sorry to have been unable to attend.

Steve was always on the go, you couldn't stop him from going shopping, out to eat and one party or another. He lived every day of his life to the fullest. I'm sure he's doing the same in heaven. Rest in peace Steve we sure will miss you.

I got reacquainted with Steve planning our 50th class reunion. It was such a wonderful experience getting to know Steve again. His love for his school and classmates was always evident, and he worked so hard tracing people so that we could contact them and renew friendships. I will cherish the memories of Steve. He was one very special guy.

Steve and I were team mates on the 1960 undefeated calumet conference basketball team. He was always one of the good guys. We will miss him at our monthly EDISON OLD TIMERS breakfasts. Rest in piece "Sam".
