Missing your smile, humor and that twinkle in your eye. Love you Steve. You were my rock

I had heard that Steve was not well but did not know he scope of the situation, I just now learned of his passing. My name is Al Kranbuhl and I run the Traditional Working Airedale message board of which Steve was along time member. While we had our disagreements I respected Steve's knowledge of hunting dogs. His stories and dog advice on the board were some of the best, he will be missed.

This had been a hard year for the Thomas family with losing our Dad and now my brother. I have lost two of the greatest men in my life. It is hard to recover from such losses. Steve has been my "rock" through thick and thin and I will miss him so much. Steve was known and loved by so many people and will leave a void that will never be filled. He was such a great father, son, brother and uncle. I will miss his sense of humor although I was the victim of it many times. I tried to get the...

Steve was a wonderful man and a great friend. He will be missed by all who knew him. Our lives were more enriched because of him. Rest in Peace friend.

I have fond memories of Steve. He was a true gentleman.

He was an amazing man and friend and he will be missed by all of his family and friends.I have many memories of the two of us from working and living together in the early 70's,he was the best man at my 1st wedding and we where friends until his passing.My prayers are out to the many family and loved ones,rest in peace my friend,I know you are in a better place with your Lord.I will always miss your smile and your sense of humor.
