Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry I missed Steve's memorial. When his name was announced during the memorium portion of the Elly's this year, I cried. Steve was a theater friend of mine and one of the most genuine and caring people I've ever met. He had such a wonderful sense of humor and had great wisdom. He had great passion for life, which was very contagious. He once gave me a copy of The Prophet that I still have in my library. A treasured gift to this day.
Rest in peace, dear one. You are and...

A Celebration of Life for Stephen Vargo will take place on Sunday, February 18 at 7p at the new home for B Street Theatre - The Sofia - 2700 Capitol Avenue.

On Sunday, November 26 one of the brightest lights in Sacramento theatre went dark when the luminous Stephen Vargo took his final bow. That light will once again shine as those who loved him gather to celebrate his kaleidoscope life journey.

Taking place at the new home of B Street Theatre, The Sofia, located at 2700 Capitol Ave in Sacramento.

Stephen was one in a million and the mold was truly broken when he was created. To be able to gather his gracious family, close and...

In the mid-1990s, Steve helped me to print out my first, and only, musical at Kinkos. He celebrated with me every time a new draft was completed. The generosity of his spirit will live in my memory, with gratitude, always.

Dear Brother how I miss you so I will always remember the good times. I love you, sister Susan

I worked with Steve at Hewlett Packard in the late 80's. He threw a going away party for me when I moved to Colorado. One of the nicest guy's I have had the pleasure of knowing. Steve you will be truely missed.

Stephen was a dear man. We were in several acting classes together many years ago and every time we would run into each other, we would pick up the conversation as if it were yesterday. His obvious love for acting made him a delight to perform with on stage and I count him as my most intense, and fun, scene partner. The world was kinder with Stephen here.

Stephen was my Uncle Steve. I love him very much and already miss him terribly. He was always very supportive of me as well as my fiancé Travis who is a musician. He loved life and was multi-faceted.

I was surprised and very sad to hear about Steve's passing. I lost touch with him about 10 years ago. We were roommates in late 1990s and early 2000's. I really enjoyed hanging out with him and his friends for about 10 years. He was so much fun. He was a good man. A big loss for those of us who knew him.
