Stephen WHITEHEAD Obituary
He was born on Aug. 10, 1987, and always resided in Williamsburg.
Stephen was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mac and Joan Whitehead; and his maternal grandfather, Charles A. Kenyon Jr.
Stephen loved music, fishing and hanging out with his friends. He played soccer for the Williamsburg Soccer Club, and loved the San Diego Chargers. Stephen previously volunteered at the Heritage Humane Society because of his love of animals. He was a very loyal and devoted friend to many of his peers and will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Ross and Grace Whitehead; and his brother, Kenny Whitehead, of Williamsburg; his grandmother, Betty Kenyon, of Destin, Fla.; his aunts and uncles, Martha Daniels and her husband, Steve, of Williamsburg, Lisa Dessofy, of Newport News, Mary Kenyon, Joy Robbins, and Doug Kenyon, all of Destin, Fla.; as well as a large extended family and many friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, Jan. 14, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, Va. A memorial service will be held on Friday, Jan. 15, at 5 p.m. at Kings Way Church, 5100 John Tyler Hwy, Williamsburg. Interment will be held at a later date.

Our grieving hearts go out to your family during this difficult time. Although we are saddened by the news of this tragedy; we are thankful that we got to know him like we did.
