Raymond Whitehead Obituary
Raymond's life was a testament to enduring love and commitment. He was married to Dicie Whitehead for over 68 remarkable years, before her passing February 13, 2025.
He issurvivedby his children, Jayrold (Jay) Whitehead, Glenn Whitehead, and Lisa Hater, Raymond siblings, Carl, James, Walter (Junior), Billy Ray, Estill, Kathern, Roxi, Juanita, and Hazel.
The community is invited to join in celebrating Raymond's life during the funeral service, which will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana. The service will be officiated by Rev. Billy Joe Deaton, honoring Raymond's faith and the profound impact he had on those around him. Friends and family may gather for visitation from 11 am to 1 pm on the day of the service at Buchanan Funeral Home.
Raymond will be laid to rest at Spurgeon Cemetery in Austin, Indiana
