Marilyn Feltner Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Buchanan Funeral Home - Austin on Feb. 14, 2026.
Marilyn "Tootie" Feltner, 69, passed away on February 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on July 29, 1956, in Williamsburg, Kentucky, Marilyn was the daughter of the late Glen and Levada Wilson. She was the light of her family a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Known for her selfless heart, she consistently put others before herself and offered encouragement, laughter, and strength to everyone blessed to know her.

A tremendous athlete in her younger years, Marilyn carried that same determination and competitive spirit throughout her life. She was a proud and faithful member of Sunnyside Assembly of God Church in Jeffersonville, Indiana where her faith guided her daily life.

Marilyn was also the former longtime owner of Northside Grocery in Austin, Indiana. What began as a business became an extended family and a place of community, friendship, and loyalty. She cherished the relationships she built there over the years.

Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was absolutely crazy over her three grandsons: Luke, RJ, and Nolan who were the pride and delight of her heart.

She is survived by her loving husband, Don Feltner; her son, Jim Feltner and wife Brandi Feltner of Geneva, Illinois; her daughter, Melissa Hardin and husband Adam Hardin of Tampa, Florida; her three beloved grandsons; and her siblings, Brenda Noble, Roger Wilson, and Beverly Baldwin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by those who welcomed her home in Heaven.

Marilyn's legacy is one of love, faith, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Funeral Service will be 12:00 Noon Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana with Rev. Steve Kerberg officiating.
