We met Steve in Anaheim whent he was flying APD Angel, he managed to obtain sponsorship from the APA for our soccer Club, where his son Scott was playing,and Verna was also helping, nice person, Thank you many youngsters were out of the streets because you believed and trusted in us., Our condolences to the Whitson family.

There are only three men who have showed me love and support during my life when I have most needed it, my father, my grandfather, and Steve Whitson. I look at him as one of the most positive male influences I have had in my life and I am heartbroken that he is gone and I wasn't able to tell him that. I know he is in heaven now.
