I´ve known Steve since he was a 12 year old can kicker from Sac, me, a Catholic girl a year ahead in school. He was my best friend´s best friend. Everything written in his obituary is spot on. I knew Steve for over 50 years. When we were kids riding bikes, he was Steve. During high school we called him Bledz. Later on, we called him "Ray" actually, we all were Ray :) Through all that time, I always called him friend! I never heard him talk bad about anyone.
