Michael and I feel so fortunate to have spent time on many a New Year's Eve and during Artsplosure festivals with Steve and the wonderful women in his family, all of whom he clearly loved truly and deeply. It is difficult to exaggerate what a profound loss this is to Raleigh and its arts community, to his neighborhood, and especially to his family.
